This is Jack, our all-time favorite dog. When he died
suddenly at the end of June, it was devastating, and I
confess I'm still grieving. But his passing has made me
once again contemplate what wonderfully Divine gifts of
Love our pets are. I wish to devote a day or two to them.
Do you have photos of present or past pets that you'd
like to jpeg to me at:
All I need along with the jpeg is your name and the
name(s) of your pet(s). You are also invited to write a
spiritually-oriented piece about your pet for the Forum, if
you're so inclined.

I love you, Lord;  you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and
my savior; my God is my rock, in whom
I find protection. He is my shield, the
power that saves me, and my place of

I called on the Lord, who is worthy
of praise, and he saved me from my
enemies. The ropes of death entangled
me; floods of destruction swept over
me. The grave wrapped its ropes
around me; death laid a trap in my
path. But in my distress I cried out
to the Lord;  yes, I prayed to my God
for help. He heard me from his sanc-
tuary; my cry to him reached his ears.

He reached down from heaven and
rescued me; he drew me out of deep

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s
promises prove true. He is a shield for
all who look to him for protection. For
who is God except the Lord?  Who but
our God is a solid rock? God arms me
with strength,  and he makes my way
Psalm 18: 1-6, 16, 30-32
Holy Bible
New Living Translation
Basically all healing is the intake into the body of the eternal Sun, the Light. If
you can call upon this Light, breathe it in, live consciously in this Light, it will
actually control the cells of the physical body. The body is so heavy, material life
so strong, that you forget the power of God to re-create tissue, to re-create the
living cells of your body.

So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void, but shall do my will,
achieving the end for which I sent it.

Yes, in joy  you shall depart, in peace you shall be brought back; Mountains and hills shall break out in
song before you, and all the trees of the countryside shall clap their hands. In place of the thornbush, the
cypress shall grow, instead of nettles, the myrtle. This shall be to the Lord's reknown, an everlasting
imperishable sign.

Isaiah 55: 11-13
New American Bible
You are faith in the flesh. God has so much faith in
you that you were entrusted with the gift of life and a
unique mission to fulfill. Did you ever stop to think that
you could have been a fruit tree. You could have
berries or flowers sticking out of your ears! Instead
you were given the right to make conscious choices,
the ability to create through thought and deed, and
dominion over every other creature. That is a
demonstration of the faith the Divine has in your
abilities and capabilities. Your task is to return faith
with faith. You must live with the knowledge that
everything you need, at any time you need it,
is being
This is how we can each become an
example of living faith--by knowing that your good is
on the way. In every undertaking you must live with
faith in the power of your thoughts, the efficacy of
your words,  and the purposefulness of your actions.

God, I offer myself to Thee--to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me
of the bondage of self, that I may better do They will. Take away my difficulties, that
victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and
Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always!
