|Welcome To The Religion Network!
I'm Lisa Bowman, editor of The Religion Network, a multi-faith Web site. This site provides inspirational quotes through an
exploration of a new spiritual theme every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Religion network is offered with the
conviction that inspiration can be found in all spiritual faiths, and furthermore, that finding the commonalities
among the world's religions is more healing than pointing up their differences.
Religion as an institution is a precious gift, blessing individuals and uplifting communities. However you choose to
worship, I hope this site enhances your journey. If you'd like to know my story, click on biography.

I don't know what's on your "to do" list today, but I'm betting the farm that it includes dealing with other people.
There are few challenges in our lives more constant than getting along with others: loving them; accepting
them; serving them; and harmonizing with them so we are singing a melody of holiness. The interaction
of "relationship" is an on-going God-given opportunity to share with others the patience and
compassion we are shown by our heavenly Father...every single moment.

I am, because God is in control.
All is, because God is in control.
Every person and every living thing has
at its life's center God's perfect control.
I will not judge by appearances.
I will not fear when things do not go my way.
No matter what it may look like, I must remember,
God is always in complete and perfect control.
For this I am so grateful.
And So It Is!

Gentle me, Lord so I can see past self-interest.
So I am not judgmental but compassionate.
So I am not selfish but helpful to others.
So I laugh at myself and with others.
So I am tolerant and patient.
So I am grateful for life.
Gentle me, Lord, so I see with my heart.

Holy Spirit, teach us how to agree (harmonize together,
together make a symphony) about - anything and every-
thing - so that whatever we ask will come to pass and be
done for us by our Father in heaven.
We pray that as members of the Body of Christ we will
live as becomes us - with complete lowliness of mind
(humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness,
mildness) with patience, bearing with one another and
making allowances because we love one another.

When you come upon a path that brings benefit
and happiness to all, follow this course as the
moon journeys through the stars.
