On February 1, 2007, the 55th Annual National Prayer Breakfast
was held at the Hilton Washington Hotel. Over 160 nations were
represented among the 3000 attendees.
President Bush and First
Lady Laura Bush were present, along with politicians such as
Senators John Mc Cain, Sam Brownback and Hillary Clinton.
Desspite the event's size, the morning was prayerful and intimate in
nature. I was privileged to be in attendance and left feeling uplifted.
Afterwards, I sat down in the Hilton's cafe with a devout woman
whom I'll refer to only as Sara. She is the founder of a group that
attends the congressional chambers on a daily basis. Why? For one
reason: to pray for our leaders.
And they pray for all of them,
regardless of their party or religion, or even lack of religion.
This group seeks no attention for itself, because its members
wish to keep their intentions and motives pure and selfless.
To respect their desire to remain "under the radar," I'll
simply say that these people are remarkable.
If you wish to learn more about the group, please

and I'll put you in contact with Sara.
