Welcome To The Religion Network! I'm Lisa Bowman. The Religion Network is an interfaith web site providing inspiration,

However you worship, I hope this
site enhances your journey. Let us meet regularly and build

Sometimes -- especially when we are suffering -- the only thing
we can do is to approach the throne of grace, as we have
been invited, and kneel in silence before our God.
We may do so even when we can't put two words together in
prayer. The Bible promises mercy and grace in those times of
distress. His favor wraps around our shoulders like a warm
blanket, and His Spirit prays for us in words beyond our
comprehension. Step into that throne room right now,
and experience intimacy with your God.

So let us confidently approach the
throne of grace to receive mercy and
to find grace for timely help.
Hebrews 4: 18
New American Bible
Just as the soft rains fill the streams,
pour into the rivers, and join together in the oceans,
so may the power of every moment of your goodness
flow forth to awaken and heal all beings --
those here now, those gone before, those yet to come.
...By the power of every moment of your goodness,
may all dangers be averted and all disease be gone.
May no obstacle come across your way.
May you enjoy fulfillment and long life.
For all in whose heart dwells respect,
who follow the wisdom and compassion of the Way,
may your life prosper in the four blessings
of old age, beauty, happiness and strength.
Traditional Buddhist Blessing and Healing Chant
Mind is the chief factor governing the body. One should
always avoid suggesting to the mind thoughts of human
limitations such as sickness, old age, and death. Rather,
the mind should constantly be told this truth: "I am the
Infinite, which has become the body. The body, as a
manifestation of Spirit, is the every-youthful Spirit."
Paramahansa Yogananda (1892-1952)
Hindu Yogi and guru
People think that if they are not well, they must sacrifice all meaning
in their life in order to take care of their physical situation. In fact, the
opposite is true: You cannot separate the healing of the body from
the healing of the soul. Doctors know this very well,
but they should make better use of this fact.

Prayer is the most powerful means of overcoming any kind of
discouragement. It connect you with an omnipotent, omniscient
Father who loves you unconditionally, who sees where
you are and is going to help you in it.
Spiritual healing is sought by different people for different reasons.
Some seek it because of physical illness, or because of mental, moral, or
financial problems; others because of an internal unrest that gives them
no peace regardless of much other satisfaction they may have found...
Spiritual healing is much more than a purely physical or even a
mental experience: Healing is finding an inner communion with some-
thing greater, far greater than anything in the world; it is finding ourselves
in God, finding ourselves in a spiritual peace, an inner peace, an inner
inner glow, all of which comes to us with the realization of God with us,
the presence and power of God felt..
Spiritual healing is the touch of the Spirit of God in man's Soul...

And now, the Last Word:
Whoever has God
Wants for nothing.
God alone is enough.

Bonus quote: We want lives of simple, predictable ease -- smooth, even trails
as far as the eye can see -- but God likes to go off-road.

from battling cancer a second time.
